Shauna Milne – Owner/Director

She teaches just about every style you can think of -Tap, Jazz, Ballet, Acro, Lyrical, Pointe, Contemporary, and Adult Tap, Jazz, and Ballet, plus Stretch and Strength classes. If it involves music and movement, she’s in!
Connie Homan – Office Manager
Connie has been part of the dance world for years, first as a devoted dance mom and now as an indispensable part of the Studio2Stage family. She served on the NDTS board for over a decade and volunteered with the PRNF and Fort St. John Arts Council.
With experience working with law firms, the University of Calgary, and running her own business in Fort St. John, Connie brings unmatched organization, knowledge, and heart to the studio. She keeps everything running smoothly, supporting staff, students, and dance parents alike.
Truly, when in doubt, we go to Connie!

Makayla Connolly- Instructor /Office Assistant

I began student teaching at the age of 17 and haven’t looked back since! I completed my Associate training for CDTA in 2022 and am excited to continue growing and achieving new milestones in my teaching career.
Currently, I teach a wide range of students, from preschoolers to our most experienced dancers. I truly love sharing my passion for dance with everyone and can’t wait to see all the amazing progress this season!

I began teaching and choreographing at Studio 2 Stage Dance Academy in 2007 and have loved the journey! I teach all genres, with Jazz and Lyrical as my favorites. Over the years, I’ve shared my love of dance through Peace Fusion Dance Company across the Peace Region, connecting dancers from Fort Nelson to Grande Prairie. I also teach local gymnasts and figure skaters.
I’m a proud teacher and love watching my dancers achieve their goals. I admire their passion, dedication, and kindness, and feel grateful for the friendships, memories, and joy that dance brings beyond the studio walls.

Amy Beard- Tap Instructor

Amy Beard grew up in Calgary, where she fell in love with dance. After high school, she began her professional career performing with Norwegian Cruise Line and Princess Cruises – and even met her husband while working at sea. Now based in Fort St. John, BC, Amy has been teaching at Studio2Stage for over 20 years.
She’s passionate about pushing her students to reach their potential and seeing their growth both on and off the stage.
Elan Miller-Jeannotte- Hip Hop/Level 1 Tap Instructor
Growing up in Fort St. John, Elan began training and performing with Studio 2 Stage at three years old, completing eleven years of competitive dance. Her passion for musical theatre led her to Victoria, BC to study at the Canadian College of Performing Arts, earning two diplomas and performing in numerous productions. Since returning to Fort St. John in 2021, Elan has shared her love of the arts by teaching hip hop, tap, and theatrical dance at Studio 2 Stage, choreographing for Northern Dance Theatre Society, and teaching, choreographing, and performing with Stage North Theatre Society.

Cassie Arntson- Kinder/Primary Instructor

This is Miss Cassie’s 11th year teaching and choreographing at S2S! She loves sharing her passion for movement and creativity with her students. Her favourite styles to teach are jazz, lyrical, and contemporary.
Our student teachers and assistant teachers help make classes run smoothly while bringing energy and support to the studio. They are hardworking leaders who are looked up to by our younger dancers and play an important role in creating a positive, focused learning environment.
